I dropped in at Waldenbooks at the mall tonight to browse. How do they stay in business? Their magazine selection is decidedly down-market on the subject side. The selection covers the breadth and depth of human knowledge - from Maxim to Oxygen.

Next I wander into the self-help section and then beyond - to religion. This bookstore puts all of the books on Islam and Buddhism in their "New Age" section along with books on witchcraft and channeling. All of their Christian books were in the "Religion" section. I guess the folks at Waldenbooks think that Islam and Buddhism don't quite qualify as religion? Astrologists are no doubt pleased that they have their own dedicated "Astrology" section at Waldenbooks.
